Inspiration for geometric project

Neurologist and author Oliver Sacks brings our attention to Charles Bonnet syndrome -- when visually impaired people experience lucid hallucinations. He describes the experiences of his patients in heartwarming detail and walks us through the biology of this under-reported phenomenon.

I have started to make 3D geometric shapes with particular interest in the shadows these objects cast.  This image has been printed onto fabric with a heat transfer print.

The bulb is housed within an old hospital screen.

'The   cure   is   worse   than   the   disease'

This is the computer program code that I have created to make the bulb in a recent installation transmit the phrase 'the cure is worse that the disease' in morse code.
